Curtis Killorn (CO)
Born and raised in California I have lived most of my life in the beautiful mountains of Salida, Colorado. Attending four years in art school and moving on as a freelance artist, book illustrator, commercial designer, art director/instructor and also the painter of many murals and outdoor creations. I owned and operated a large restaurant for ten years which allowed me to be challenged in every way possible. I have actively participated in Burning Man on many creative levels since 2003, and it continues to be a source of inspiration and rejuvenation. I have always worked as an artist in every field of my life and look forward to what is next, while remaining in the “present now” the best I can. In the last few years my work has been featured in many publications and sites: •Denver Post •Channel 5 News •The Huffington Post •WIRED •High Country News •The Mountain Mail and many web sites

Ben Snackman Eppley (CO)
Ive been lighting events throughout Colorado for the past 5 years. Originally starting with the electro jam band the Frozen Movement, I later moved on to lighting more parties and DJ events. Over the years, Ive worked closely with the Whomp Truck crew providing production for many of their events, as well as working with other local crews such as Fantastic Hosts and Family Moons, among others. He’s been blessed to light many of his local hero’s, as well as heavy hitters like Random Rab, Bird of Prey, Mr. Bill and more.
Rose P. Griffith (CO)
Rose has been painting and creating art in California since she could hold a brush. At age 18, Rose moved to Santa Cruz to study Art, with an interest in Environmental Studies and Mahayana Buddhism. After living and studying abroad in India for a semester, Rose graduated from UCSC and moved back to her hometown, Sacramento. Rose began live painting at small rock n roll gigs in Sacramento in 2008, expanding out to bigger DJ’d and live music events in the Bay Area 2011 through 2013; and most recently transplanting herself to Boulder, Colorado to continue her painting career. Rose’s live paintings are vivid, mandala-inspired, colorful and spiritual works. Her inspiration for the paintings come from a channeling of source: the medicine of the music; the crowd joy consciousness, and reflections from her own visual research. Rose paints as an offering of devotion to the Earth and to Spirit; and as an example of discipline and artistic expression for current generations and the youth, our future; and also a homage to past generations and fallen legends. She plans on beginning an art and yoga therapy program with children in Colorado. Rose the Live Painter is a guardian of light, working to inspire others through her art and cultural networking.
BlueBear Lili (CO)
Bluebear Lili emerged from the east coast, between Maryland, WV and South Carolina. She has always embraced illustration as means of conveying, and the more she dabbled in it, the clearer her purpose and messages became. She now makes art based around providing the viewer with an open ended perspective on modern positives and negatives. She likes to juxtapose these ends of the spectrum in a funky, cartoony type of way as to encourage a playfulness to the arrangements, but also a certain rawness. Other times, she enjoys conveying through street art, where all walks of life are exposed to the view. The point is all to connect with the viewers and instill an undertow to them that they are involved in an amazing connected, singley sourced universe, and that there is a choice to be made to be involved wholly in this beautiful and forever cycling experience. A nomadic comic toonist and painter, Bluebear Lili has found her home in Denver, Colorado & Willits, CA, where she continues to take part in perpetuating the flow of all that is positive in our time and cultivates the creative grounds for careless and raw inner exploration through the art of playful acrylic painting and other various mediums.
Derek Osterlund (CO)
Derek is constantly experimenting with new elements that challenge his creative process and technique. The variety of mediums used add a level of quality and expressive detail found in every layer. From digital to hand painted works Derek’s elemental focus is on inventive form, color, texture, space and balance. Each work is a spontaneous study of ones environment composed to critique the binary connection between technology and nature. The image essence is then captured through expressing individuality with the medium. When completed each work is then left to the viewer’s thoughts and perception.
Isaac Carpenter (CO)
Originally from Durango CO. Now live and work in the Denver area. dsgv
I started off with graffiti which led to stencils and a style of street art known as “space-painting”.
A few years ago I began doing mixed media with airbrush, acrylics and other methods.
“A lot of people tend to over-analyze my art. They see a painting and say to me, “Oh you must think like this, or feel this way about something. Or be this type of person.” They are almost always wrong in assuming the motives behind any given piece. That’s your thinking, those are your emotions. When you look at art you are digging in your head, not mine. Whatever someone else sees in any piece of art is a reflection of their own consciousness. All I did was put paint on a canvas. Any image or idea or emotion that results from that is in the mind of the viewer.
Kelly Lundeen (Marty) paints from a perspective that could be called atmospheric, creating the line that separates earth from sky. Viewers are captured by his vast horizons that span up to the stars. The surreal landscapes of mountains ranges and infinite frontiers are set to life when the imagination places itself at the vista point of the perspective, in the angle of reference.
Starting off as just a hobby, Kelly has received no formal training in fine art painting. He believes that his curiosity in the “spacescapes” he is creating comes from his background in cinematography and camera operating. The heavy focus on framing and composition, and trying to capture picturesque sunsets. Gave Kelly the inspiration to create his very own picturesque “countryside’s”.
Ocean Byrne is a long time computer animator, sculptor, jeweler, and wanna-be renaissance man. Ocean largely formed his creative chops in the digital realm. A lust for the hypnotic quality of color changing pixels lead a young fool down a career path in the most versatile and efficient story telling tool available today. All hail copy/paste. But why stick to clean, sitting, near instant gratification – when one can lug around big heavy stones and get enormously filthy and deaf carving them into dust. Well dust, and hopefully interesting forms. A friend introduced Ocean to stone sculpture, and Ocean was enchanted with a nice grounding exploration of the antithesis of the undo button. Now Ocean enjoys mixing all forms of imagination. From carving sea shells, to wiring crystals with LED lights, to designing impossible forms on the computer and having them forged into reality via the exciting technology of 3D printing. Bring on the New Renaissance…
